The Hydrogen Technology Expo, held in Bremen, Germany on September 27th and 28th, stands as one of the premier global trade fairs dedicated to hydrogen technologies, materials, components, and engineering solutions. With a staggering attendance of over 7,500 individuals, 450 exhibitors, and a lineup of 185 distinguished speakers, this event served as a pivotal convergence point.
The expo
brought together stakeholders along the entire supply chain, engaging in
discussions encompassing topics like technologies and strategies for low-carbon
hydrogen production, efficient storage, transportation, infrastructure, as well
as advancements in design, testing, development, manufacturing solutions, and
cutting-edge materials for hydrogen fuel cells.
While the
potential of hydrogen as a clean and sustainable energy source is widely
acknowledged, substantial technical and economic challenges continue to impede
its capacity to significantly reduce global carbon emissions. In this context,
the Hydrogen Technology Conference & Expo Europe emerges as a dedicated
platform for addressing these challenges. It focuses on advancing innovative
technologies to pave the way for the mainstream adoption of hydrogen, both in
stationary and mobile applications.
At the expo
event, OUTFOX partners, Convion and Elcogen OY, shared exhibition space at Stand 6E210 throughout
the two-day showcase. This collaborative showcase offered attendees valuable
insights into their impressive solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolysis
cell (SOEC) products. The event served as a platform for highlighting recent
advancements and discussing the wide-ranging applications of Convion’s
flexible mini-CHP systems and their highly efficient SOEC steam electrolyzers.
It was a bustling two days filled with innovation and knowledge exchange.
